M.T.C.C. Holds First Holy Convocation
On Saturday, September 12, students and faculty gathered for the first-ever More Than Conquerors College Holy Convocation, a special event designed to formally welcome both new and returning students into the college community as they embarked on a new academic year together.
Holy Convocation provided an opportunity to celebrate students' acceptance into the M.T.C.C. family and reaffirm their calling to Christian service and ministry. The gathering also encouraged fellowship among students and faculty, strengthened the sense of community, and reinforced the mission, values, and culture of the institution. Through prayer and encouragement, students were commissioned for the year ahead and reminded of the important role they play in the Kingdom of God.
President Marilyn Gool served as the keynote speaker and challenged students and faculty to reflect on why the institution exists, the enduring legacy of Christian education, the responsibility that comes with ministry preparation, and the importance of faithfully pursuing God's calling.
The inaugural Holy Convocation was a meaningful time of worship, reflection, and fellowship. The event set a positive tone for the academic year while creating lasting memories for all who attended. M.T.C.C. is grateful for the opportunity to begin the year united in purpose and prayer, celebrating the mission of this great institution and looking forward to all that lies ahead.
